The Croatian Laundry Series...

From my arrival in small the town of Rovinj in Istria I realised that I may have a little series brewing. The first thing that I noticed when walking around was the laundry, I always think of laundry (thanks to my mom) as a sign of life. And of course with many small tourist towns sometimes the only life is the tourists, but not in Rovinj, here you can see that people live here and enjoy this beautiful little gem by the sea. There is something so exciting as a photographer when you arrive in a town that has so much character. I walked down every street in Rovinj, some of them numerous times. I am very grateful to have been able to travel here and see it. And I am thrilled with my little laundry series, it may be good that we left when we did because I would never have stopped taking photos!
